Day-1 : Delhi

Arrive Delhi and be greeted at airport for transfer to hotel.Traditional “Aarti and Tikka” welcome—you are garlanded and anointed with a vermilion mark on your forehead.Enjoy your first day absorbing Delhi’s culture, history, architecture & human diversity.Overnight at The Park (Luxury Rooms)

Day-2 : Delhi—Bhopal(x km/9 hr)

Travel to Bhopal and check into hotel.Transfer to New Delhi railway station for the Bhopal Shatabdi Express, departing Delhi at 0600 hours, arriving Bhopal at 1430 hours.Book in to Jehan Numa Palace (Imperial Room).1.5 to 2 hour walking tour of Bhopal.Welcome dinner at Noor-Us- Sabah Palace.Overnight at hotel with welcome dinner.

Day-3 : Bhopal

Breakfast.Afternoon orientation drive followed by visits to the Bharat Kala Bhawan Museum* (a contemporary, folk and tribal multi-art centre for verbal, visual and performing arts) and the Tribal Habitat Museum of Man* (open-air exhibition of the tribal cultures of India with typical contemporary dwellings).In the evening cooking demonstration and home-cooked dinner.Overnight at hotel. Day-4 : Bhopal(116 km round trip/1.5 hours driving each way)

Breakfast.Day excursion to Sanchi, a great centre of Buddhist learning and piety for over 1500 years. See 3rd century BC Great Stupa; 5th century Udaigiri caves; and the 113BC Heliodorus Pillar at Vidisha.Overnight at resort.

Day-5 : Bhopal—Satpura Via Bhimbetka(180 Kms; 4 hrs)

Drive to Satpura with stop at the Bhimbetka Rock shelters.Night safari in Satpura National Park, Bori and Panchmarhi SanctuariesOvernight at Reni Pani Jungle Lodge (Cottage). Lunch and dinner

Day-6 : Saptura National Park

Breakfast.Morning jeep safari and afternoon safari by motorboat or by elephant.Alternatives include nature walks, kayaking, riding etc.Overnight at Reni Pani Jungle Lodge. Lunch and dinner.

Day-7 : Saptura

Day-16 : COCHIN/MUNNAR(130 KMS / 4 HOURS)

After Breakfast drive to Munnar, the picturesque hill station in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located 1800 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forest and grassland here, will bloom next in 2006 A.D. Munnar is also the home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. Overnight at the Hotel.
