Day-1 : COCHIN

Upon arrival at Cochin airport, you will be met by our team representative. Cochin -the Queen of Arabian Sea, undoubtedly the Commercial hub of Kerala, where ancient civilization gracefully mingles with the modern life. Right from the early years, Cochin has had cultural trade and relations with the outside world and had also experienced pulsating episodes of European Colonial rivalry. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-2 : COCHIN

Morning breakfast. Proceed for the Fort Cochin sightseeing: – visit the Jewish Synagogue: – The Jewish Synagogue in the port city of Kochi is the oldest synagogue in all the Commonwealth of Nations Dutch Palace: – Built by the Portuguese in 1557 and presented to Raja Veera Kerala Varma of Kochi, the Palace was renovated in 1663 by the Dutch. It has has an exquisite collection of murals collectively covering over 300 sq. ft of its walls Also on display are royal paraphernalia like weapons, swings and furniture which offer a glimpse of the lifestyle of the royal family., Visit the St. Francis Church and the Chinese fishing nets. Day-3 : COCHIN / THEKKADY

Morning breakfast. After the breakfast proceed to Thekkady (Periyar Tiger Reserve). Check –in your hotel at around 1200 Noon. Thekkady, one of the best-known wild life centre’s in India and picturesque with unending Chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. Overnight at Hotel

Day-4 : THEKKADY

Morning Breakfast, Proceed for a half day Bamboo rafting experience in the Periyar lake. You can spend the evening at Leisure/Shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day-5 : THEKKADY

Morning trek into the Periyar wild life park. Afternoon Spice Plantation tour and Spice Market visit. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day-6 : THEKKADY / MUNNAR

Morning breakfast. After the breakfast proceed to Munnar. Munnar – the picturesque hill station in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located 1800 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forest and grassland here, will bloom next in 2006 A.D. Munnar is also the home of NilgiriTahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. You can spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-7 : MUNNAR

After the breakfast proceed for the sightseeing. Visit Tea museum: – The museum set up at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar the Tata Tea Museum diligently portrays the growth of Munnar tea estates, veritably conveyed through some of the displays like the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully automated tea factory. Visitors to the museum can satiate their curiosity on various stages of tea processing, and also learn a thing or two about the production of black tea. (Closed On Mondays). Visit Mattupetty located 13 km from Munnar is situated at a height of 1700 m, and is a delight for nature lovers, One of the main attractions in Mattupetty is the beautiful lake, and the Mattupetty Dam. Echo Point: – One of the main attractions in Mattupetty is the beautiful lake, and the MattupettyDam,The fresh mountain air, the mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worth a visit. . Day-8 : MUNNAR

Morning breakfast. Proceed for the Visit of Eravikulam Park: The main inhabitant of the Eravikulam Park is NilgiriTahr. Now the park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world. Overnight at Hotel

Day-9 : MUNNAR

Morning Breakfast, Proceed for the Chinnar visit & night safari package on this day with the guide. The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the rain shadow region of Western Ghats of Kerala, and represents a large number of plants and animals unique to the thorny vegetation. Apart from the dry thorn forests, due to the significant variation in altitude and rainfall, it has a wide array of habitat types like deciduous forests, dry thorny forest, riparian types, sholas and grasslands that are interspersed with plains, hillocks, rocks and cliffs which provide microhabitats for varied forms of life. It is an abode of reptilian fauna and the richest in Kerala in terms of the number of species. Albizialathamii, a critically endangered species has been reported from the dry forests of Chinnar. It is a well known repository of medicinal plants. The riverine forests along Chinnar and Pambar support a healthy population of Grizzled Giant Squirrel. The famous ‘white bison of Manjampatti’ has been recently reported from Chinnar. With 225 species of birds, Chinnar is rich in avian diversity. Overnight at hotel.

Day-10 : MUNNAR / COCHIN

Morning Breakfast, Proceed to Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check into Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day-11 : MUNNAR / COCHIN AIRPORT

Morning breakfast. Depart in time to Cochin International airport to connect onto your flight for home.
