Spiritual tourism comprises visiting sacred and spiritual places of worship of many religions (churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques) to receive spiritual experience and enlightenment and improve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. India is a nation of mysticism and spiritual enlightenment. Spiritual travel packages yearn to recharge their mental batteries, practice mindfulness, and develop their spiritual well-being because of India’s reputation as a land of spirituality. Mindfulness has gained appeal as a positive technique of dealing with challenges. Spiritual tourism has also started to appeal to young people in the post-pandemic age since it blends mindfulness and spirituality into the travel fabric. Travel for spiritual purposes restores and renews our sense of wonder and is also organically linked to self-care. It creates a deeper connection to the environment, others, and oneself. The demand for happiness in society is bigger than ever, and the urge to examine the spiritual realm attracts elderly and young people alike.
