Kaziranga National Park Tour

This itinerary provides a framework for a Guwahati – Manas – Nameri – Kaziranga – Guwahati trip, focusing on wildlife,  You’ll explore unique ecosystems and wildlife like one-horned rhinos and golden langurs. Key activities include jeep and elephant safaris, birdwatching, and experiencing Assamese culture and tea gardens. 

Detailed Itinerary

Arrive at Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative and then drive to Manas national park (4 hours approx). Manas National Park is an UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, a Project Tiger reserve, an elephant reserve and a biosphere reserve in Assam and also famous for its natural beauty. On arrival, check-in at the lodge.

Early morning Elephant safari inside the park. Afternoon go on a jeep safari inside the park to see the wildlife.

Today morning drive to Nameri national park (8hours approx). Nameri National Park is an ideal habitat for the Indian Elephant along with host of other animals including the tiger, leopard, sambar, clouded leopard, leopard cat, gaur, wild boar, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, capped langur etc. On arrival, check-in at the eco camp.

Morning enjoy a session of rafting on the gentle rapids of Jia Bhorali River which the entire family can enjoy. It is a relaxed way to see the birds like Ibisbill and others and takes about 03 hours. Thereafter go on a soft trek inside the National Park accompanied by a forest guard (Direct payment basis).Thereafter proceed to Kaziranga National Park (2hours approx). On arrival, check-in at the resort.

Get up very early in the morning for an exciting elephant ride (Note: Elephant ride is subject to availability from forest dept. on direct payment basis).  Enjoy the ride through the Park for 1 hr. to appreciate the beauty of famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, etc up close. After breakfast, go on a Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal introduction to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a possibility of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc. Afternoon go on a Jeep safari inside Western range of the National Park to enjoy the wildlife of the park. The route traverses the southwest portion of the park. This range has maximum short grass areas and is the optimum habitat for Rhino and Water Buffalo.

After breakfast go on a jeep safari inside Central /Western/Eastern rang of the park (Optional).Thereafter drive to Guwahati (240 km/ 5 hours approx).On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening enjoy sunset cruise on mighty river Brahmaputra (weather permitting) .

Today morning after breakfast drive to airport for your journey back home.
