Detailed Itinerary

Meet on arrival at International airport where guest will be welcomed by flower garlanding and then transferred to Hotel for overnight stay (Rooms from 1500 Noon)

Delhi, a city built seven times by different dynasties, the capital of India, and also the third largest city in India, with a population of about 14 million. Its strategic location along the north-south, east-west route has given it a focal position in Indian history and many great empires have been ruled from here. Dotted with about 1300 monuments and ruins it lie scattered throughout the city, often cheek by jowl with modern structures and high-rise towers.

Commence your tour of Delhi with a visit to Akshardham temple

The Akshardham temple, built without steel, is entirely composed of sandstone and marble. It consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangle shikhars, spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India's great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities. The monument is a fusion of several architectural styles of pink stone and pure white marble. Pink stone symbolizes bhakti (devotion) in eternal bloom and white marble of absolute purity and eternal peace.. Here you also see the life of Swami Neelkanth through various stages of life – most intresting.

Later continue to visit Lotus (Bahai) temple followed by Visit to the Qutab Minar, a Tower of Victory that was built in the 12th century by Qutb-ud-din Aibak. Within its spacious courtyard stands the Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD and bears a Sanskrit inscription in the Gupta style

Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by  the Indian soldiers), the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.

Later continue with sightseeing of Old Delhi driving past the magnificent Red Fort, - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Walk through the Chandni Chowk to savour the ambiance of an oriental bazaar. Chandi Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city. Enjoy short rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi to reach Jama Masjid, - The largest mosque in India.

Mathura - Famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, it dates back to 600 BC. Many places are associated with the life of Lord Krishna. It is 145 Km south-east of Delhi and 58 Km North West of Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh. For about 3000 Year it was the hub of culture and civilization. Held in sanctity by the Buddhists, Jain and Brahmanical faith alike, it has a long and chequered history. Places of interest include Vishram Ghat on the river Yamuna, where Krishna supposedly rested after the battle with Kansa, Shri Krishna Janma Bhumi, the birth place of Lord Krishna; Government MuseumLocated at Dampier Park, it has one of the finest collection of archaeological interest. Rare items from the Gupta and Kushan period (400 B.C.-1200A.D.) are on display.

Continue drive to Agra

Agra is home to the world famous Taj Mahal. Agra rose to fame in the mediaeval period as the capital of the Mughal Empire and was beautified with gardens, waterfalls, bathhouses and canals. In modern times, the city of Agra houses a thriving carpet industry. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel.

After breakfast a hotel proceed with sightseeing tour of Agra, visiting Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Mehtab Bagh.

The tour of world famous Taj Mahal   - Perhaps no other symbol epitomizes India as Taj Mahal. Situated on the banks of the river Yamuna, the Taj Mahal is an epitome of love, a poem in marble by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal.  The Taj Mahal is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. It is said that different types of precious and semi-precious stones were used in the intricate inlay work done on the interiors. This magnificent monument is set around a Charbagh or 'four garden' plan, which is split by watercourses-a reflection of the Persian style. (TAJ MAHAL IS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS).

Later Visit Mahtab Bagh is situated on the sandy bank of Yamuna River just opposite the Taj Mahal mausoleum. The place is an ideal spot for it provides picturesque view of Taj Mahal. The name Mehtab Bagh means 'Moon Light Garden' and the same was testified by the beautiful reflection of Taj Mahal in the pool at night in Mahtab Bagh. The place has a history of its own. It is believed that the great emperor Shah Jahan who built Taj Mahal for his queen anted an identical one for himself at Mehtab Bagh. However the archaeological findings have proved the existence of garden complex. Whatever the popular beliefs be, the place is worth a visit as it provides bewitching image of Taj Mahal

Continue your sightseeing visiting Agra Fort - Built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the center of the city.  Diwan-i-Aam (hall of public audience) and Diwan-i-Khas (hall of private audience) were built by Shahjehan for receiving audiences.  Other places to see within the fort include the Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal

Fatehpur Sikri: Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. 40 kms from Agra, the city of Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586. But as abruptly as it had been built, it was abandoned..  The finest monuments within this area are the Diwan - i - Am, Diwan - i - Khas, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and the tomb of Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti.

Later continue drive to Bharatpur & Check-in at heritage Hotel

In the afternoon, take rickshaw ride to visit the Bahartpur Sanctuary, It is popularly known as GHANA Bird sanctuary. It is paradise for avian world and bird watchers. It is only 29 sq. km in size but one can spot more than 375 species of birds. One can observe tree housing up to seventy to eighty nest, belonging to different species of birds then 130 of birds breeds inside the park. In winter planty of migratory birds not only from other parts in India but also from places Like Europe, Sirebia, China & Tibet- can be easily spot. Ducks, Cranes, Herons, Storks, Ibis, and Spoonbill, predatory birds like Eagles, Vultures, Kites, and Falcons are main attraction of park. Tallest flying bird SARAS Crane can be spotted here lakes at time of dusk. Several mammal species like Sambhar, spotted dear, antelopes, wild boar, Jackals can also be seen, amphibians and reptiles of park is very rich. Turtles, 5 species of lizard, 13 species of snacks including pythons can also be seen lazing in the sun.72 species of colorful butterflies are beauty of the park.

After breakfast at 08:30 hrs drive to Jaipur en route visiting Abhaneri Step well. The Chand Baori is a step well built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest step wells in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones. Located in the eastern part of the province of Rajasthan, it was built by King Chanda somewhere in the 9th century. The Chand Baori is not an easy landmark to find, thus it is one of the hidden secrets of India! Step wells, also called bawdi or baori, are unique to this nation.  The wells have steps built into the sides that lead down to the water.

Continue to Jaipur. Before reaching hotel, drive past to Birla temple. Check-in hotel.  

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was given a colour of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, a notable astronomer, this city is approximately 260 years old.

After early breakfast proceed for visit to Galtaji Temple

Galtaji is a holy pilgrimage of India, located 10 kms away from Jaipur in Rajasthan. The vast complex of Galta Ji has several temples in it. The Temple of Galtaji is famous for its natural water springs. Set amidst the beautiful landscape, Galtaji Temple offers a picturesque view of the city. Galtaji is considered holy place, as Saint Galav spent his life meditating here. However, the temple was built mach later by Diwan Rao Kriparam, a courtier of Sawai Jai Singh II, in the 18th Century. The outstanding structure of the Temple looks more like a mansion or Haveli.

In the Afternoon, continue with a Half day city tour which begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.

Late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs.

After breakfast proceed for visit to Amber fort with Elephant ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride all the way up to the Fort entrance. This journey on caparisoned elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Later continue drive to Delhi & Arrive Delhi and transfer to airport to board flight to onward destination.
